I just published an article about how webinars can contribute to open education. I am sure that many of you are familiar with
“COMMUNICATION FROM THE COMMISSION TO THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT, THE COUNCIL, THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COMMITTEE AND THE COMMITTEE OF THE REGIONS Opening up Education: Innovative teaching and learning for all through new Technologies and Open Educational Resources”.
I tried to argue that webinars can be open formats accessible for everybody and connecting participants beyond traditional classrooms. Furthermore they can contribute to the open commons as the recording or other artefacts can be released as OER.
P.S.: I mentioned as well this project.
